The cee’d Sportswagon from Kia combines quality design with advanced technology. Spacious and reliable, this popular estate is an attractive option for Motability Scheme customers, with a seven-year warranty ensuring complete peace of mind.
The cee’d SW is available in seven different trim options, from the standard SR7 through to the GT-Line. A wider front bumper, redesigned grille, tinted windows and new style alloys give the cee’d a sportier look than its predecessor. A smart entry system available on the 4 trim and upwards recognises the smart key in your bag or pocket on approach, making access simple, and welcome lights guide you safely to the car at night. The 4, 4 Tech and GT-Line trims also feature door handle illumination on the front doors. Features exclusive to the 4 Tech include Xenon lights with automatic levelling, headlamp washers and a tilting sunroof with automatic roll blind.
Inside, you’ll find a roomy interior with scope for adaptations as required. The rear seats fold in a 60:40 split for flexible storage options, creating a generous boot capacity of 1,624 litres. This means you can stow large items, including wheelchair and scooters with ease. All cee’d models have a fully adjustable steering wheel with integral controls, and Kia’s FlexSteer technology comes as standard on the level 2 trim and upwards. All models, except for the 1 edition, are fitted with electric windows throughout and the 4 and 4 Tech editions feature an electronic parking brake. Air conditioning is offered as standard on all trims, with an automatic version with ioniser available on the 3 trim model and upwards. USB and aux ports are fitted as standard, and Bluetooth connectivity with voice recognition means you can make phone calls completely hands-free.
The Sportswagon is available in a choice of two petrol engines; the 1.4-litre 98bhp unit and the 1.0-litre 118bhp unit. Those who prefer diesel can choose from the manual 1.4-litre engine or the 1.6-litre CRDi engine, which is available in a six speed manual edition or seven speed automatic. Diesel units are also now far quieter inside the cabin thanks to improved sound deadening. The new cee’d SW engines are cleaner than their predecessors and fully compliant with Euro 6 emissions standards.
Parking is made easy with assistive technology on the higher spec models. The Sportswagon SR7, 4, and 4 Tech models are all fitted with reversing sensors, while the GT-Line has a reversing camera system. The tyre pressure monitoring system informs you when your tyres are under-inflated. Maintaining tyres at the correct pressure helps to reduce the risk of accidents through tyre failure, as well as enhancing fuel economy. A front wiper de-icer on trim options 3 and up means no more difficulty scraping the windscreen clean in icy weather.
