Kia announces the All-New Kia Stonic

Due to be released late 2017

The all-new Kia Stonic has been unveiled. Kia first B-SUV segment vehicle will be shown to the public at the Frankfurt Motor Show on 14th September and will go on sale later in 2017. The look of the Kia Stonic is one of the brand’s most striking to date, but it still contains key signature design elements that are familiar to the Kia Brand, such as the ‘tiger-nose’ grille.Designed primarily in Europe, the all-new Kia Stonics eye-catching exterior features more vibrant paint options than any Kia before, with the availability of a two-tone roof on selected grades. With 20 two-tone colour combinations will be available, and a choice of up to five distinctive colours for the roof, Kia customers can really make their Kia Stonic unique to them.

The interior offers a variety of vivid colour packs, and a range of infotainment features including Apple CarPlay and Android Auto - both of which will be fitted as standard. Passenger comfort has been prioritised, with class-leading shoulder room, generous leg and head room, and versatile 352-litre (VDA) luggage area.

Individuality is important to many Kia customers and the Stonic’s ‘Targa’-style roof allows buyers to choose a two-tone paint finish which draws its inspiration from the design of the 2013 Kia Provo concept. Up to 20 two-tone colour combinations will be available in Europe when the Kia Stonic arrives, with a choice of up to five distinctive colours for the roof.

The Stonic combines agile handling and a sporty ride for an exhilarating drive. Even though the Stonic is SUV inspired there are a range of lightweight, downsized, turbocharged petrol and diesel engines available. Shoppers have the choice of Kia’s lightweight 1.0-litre T-GDI engine generating 120ps, along with 1.25- or 1.4-litre naturally-aspirated MPI (multi-point injection) petrol engines. An efficient 1.6-litre diesel engine completes the range, offering the lowest emissions in the line-up.

Available with a range of convenience and safety technology as standard, and with a choice of three engines, the Kia Stonic is sure to have something to suit any driver; and of course, it''s backed by Kia’s quality promise, the car will be sold as standard with the company’s unique seven-year, 100,000 mile warranty.
