With its UK launch only months away, the ŠKODA Kodiaq, the first SUV to be released by ŠKODA, has made a real impact in the motoring press. British journalists test drove the Kodiaq in Mallorca, and the brand’s ‘game-changer’ has been very popular.
Given 5 stars by Auto Express, and described as “a new class leader” the Kodiaq has received glowing reviews all round. “One of the best seven seaters”- WhatCar? “Just what the doctor ordered” and “a very fine car indeed” – AutoCar, and “Comfy, Capable and Compelling”- CAR Magazine.
After receiving high praise from the motoring press following its international launch, the Kodiaq has also won its very first award. Top Gear magazine has recognised ŠKODA’s all-new SUV in its ‘Best cars in the world’ issue.
The seven-seat Kodiaq won ‘Best car for big families’. Top Gear magazine said: "Minimising stress is at the heart of the Kodiaq’s mission. That’s what its versatility is all about, because you never fear it won’t ably put its shoulder to any task family life throws at it: fetching and carrying of people and stuff, hauling or going mildly off-road or defeating slippery roads. It’s reassuring and safe, but it manages to avoid tedium.” The full review appears in the January issue of Top Gear magazine – in newsagents from 30 November.
