For the second year in a row Kia Motors (UK) Limited has won the prestigious Car Dealer Power Award as Manufacturer of the year and they couldn't be any prouder!
The award was presented by James Baggott, the Managing Director of Car Dealer who had this to say about Kia: "Kia is a brand that is seemingly unstoppable in its progress with well-designed and reliable cars all delivered with a seven year warranty. with great cars in the line up and a dealer network that is clearly a thriving and happy one it is no surprise that kia has successfully defended its title of top dog from last year!"
There to accept the award was Paul Philpott, President and Chief Executive of Kia Motors (UK) Limited said: "This is a very special award for us to win because it is voted for by dealers across all the brands from right round the country. The partnership with our dealers is absolutely essential to us and sharing our success is at the heart of everything we do"

In the first half of 2017, Kia Motors (UK) Limited have sold a whopping 50,000 cars! This is despite stiff market conditions in the past three months. this is the first time the brand has reached this astonishing milestone having first started trading in the UK in 1991. During that year Kia sold just under 1,800 cars. The brand now sell that number on average each week with the help of its 188 strong dealer network with Birchwood Kia in Eastbourne and Washington helping to contribute towards this.
The CEO and President of Kia, Paul Philpott has commented: "We are thrilled to have been able to break such a milestone within the UK, and this is a testament to our ever-growing brand presence and the strength of our design. Our total sales in the UK now number 861,143 with sales expecting to reach the one million mark by 2020". Kia have targeted a full-years sales number of 92,000 with a longer term goal of 100,000 sales before the end of the decade.
