Wear it Pink

Fundraiser for Breast Cancer Research

Friday 21st October

Birchwood turned pink, with each member changing from our usual franchise colours for something a little different, which would have sight to see for branch visitors during the day.

In support of Breast Cancer research, the 21st October saw us fundraising for "Wear It Pink", in association with 'Breast Cancer Awareness Month'. With the help of a cake sale, half of which were made by Liz, our very own star-baker, and generous donations from each department, we raised £172.

This is the second 'Wear it Pink' day we've had, and has become more and more popular with colleagues and customers alike. Keep your eyes peeled for news in early Autumn 2017 by following us on Facebook or Twitter for our next wear it pink event! You may even see a couple of Pink Panthers!
