Destination Motorcycles is currently seeking a motivated After Sales Advisor to join their team in Christchurch, Dorset on a 3 month fixed-term contract. This role involves managing customer interactions in the aftersales department, ensuring smooth operations in the workshop, and maximizing sales opportunities for service work, parts, and accessories. The ideal candidate will be driven, customer-focused, and able to deliver exceptional service standards.

Your duties will include but are not limited to the following:

  • Maintain hospitality area
  • Ensure all customers receive a warm and friendly welcome
  • Answer the phone, especially the service and parts calls (if the aftersales team are unable to do so) and help each customer with their enquiry
  • Update customers on the status of their bike in the workshop, referring to the digital diary
  • Help customers who want to make a booking by entering this into the diary
  • Fulfil all Shopify orders
  • Sell clothing, helmets, boots and merchandise to customers
  • Maintain a premium display in all showrooms, with everything priced and displayed to a high standard
  • Ensure all items on display are correctly located on the Pinnacle digital system
  • Complete outbound telephone calls to customers who are due their service and book them in
  • Complete calls to customers who have recently had work completed and check they are satisfied
  • Prepare service plan quotes for customers who are coming in for service and sell them when they arrive
  • Pre-call customers who are coming for their service to re-confirm their booking

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:

  • 1-2 years of experience (preferred but not essential)
  • Motorcycle licence (preferred but not essential)
  • Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and time management skills
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and work independently
  • Self-motivated, able to work on own initiative without constant supervision
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and able to create relationships at all levels
  • A flexible approach to working

Package:

Working Hours:

  • 3 month fixed-term contract
  • (1st April – 30th September) Monday - Friday 08:30 - 18.00 & Saturdays 08:30-17:00, 1 in 4 paid as overtime
  • (1st October – 31st March) Monday – Friday 08:30- 17:00 & Saturdays 08:30-16:30,1 in 4 paid as overtime

Salary: £30,000 + Bonus (£35,000 OTE) pro rata

Holiday: 22 days plus bank holidays
