Graphic Designer

Summary

The Graphic Designer will lead and develop the Birchwood Group design team in delivering innovative, customer focused, cutting-edge creative across all digital platforms. An experienced and talented individual, tuned in to the latest creative movements and strong skill set to bring our brand and partner personalities to life.

Reporting to the Director of Digital Transition, the role works very closely with the marketing and management teams as well as the wider business at all levels.

An interest in Cars & Motorcycles are helpful attributes.

Key Duties

●Bringing to life the brand image through design and execution

●Developing highly creative, engaging, and unique concept / ideas to design and execution of visual and communication assets

●Developing high level printed materials

●Design development and the delivery of multifaceted communication materials in print, packaging, digital and other mediums

●Designing and managing all requests from e-commerce, marketing, HR, training, and retail teams

●Collaborating with the Digital Director to drive concepts through to design executions

●Creating detailed presentations to be shared internally or to brief externals

●Creating and implementing successful print and digital media campaigns

●Creating layouts, guidelines and managing local assets for quarterly / seasonal campaigns

●Driving design development and delivery across print/collateral, digital and motion design

●Nurture and mentor junior members of the team, as well as reviewing and approving all graphic assets produced

●Design / develop digital microsites to support business requirements and logistical challenges

Qualifications:

oProven experience as a graphic designer

oProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design software

oStrong understanding of typography, colour theory, layout principles, and other design fundamentals

oExcellent communication skills, ability to articulate creative ideas and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

oAbility to adapt to evolving client preferences and project requirements,

oMaintain high standards of quality and professionalism

Additional Skills (Preferred, but not required):

oExperience with motion graphics, video editing, or animation

oFamiliarity with Canva

oKnowledge of web design principles

oExperience with designing for UX/UI considerations and mobile responsiveness
