Destination Motorcycles is a leading dealership specializing in high-performance motorcycles from top brands including KTM, Gas Gas, Husqvarna and MV Agusta. We are dedicated to providing exceptional customer experiences and quality products that cater to motorcycle enthusiasts of all kinds.
We are looking to recruit a reliable and enthusiastic Van Driver & Motorcycle Valeter to support our Destination Motorcycles dealerships in Fareham.
This is a varied, hands-on role that combines motorcycle deliveries and collections with valeting and site support. You will play an important part in ensuring our bikes are presented to the highest standard and that customers receive a professional, friendly service.
Your duties will include but are not limited to the following:
- Welcome visitors to site and provide guidance when required
- Ensure keys are correctly returned, stored securely, and key cupboards are locked
- Make sure all vehicles are secure when unattended
- Deliver and collect motorcycles for the service department and customer handovers
- Collect motorcycles from customers for servicing or repair
- Deliver courtesy bikes and return serviced or repaired motorcycles to customers
- Check insurance cover notes on handover of courtesy bikes and inspect for damage on return
- Report any damage to courtesy bikes, stock bikes, or company vehicles
- Assist with moving motorcycles on and off site as required
- Support customers with parking where necessary
- Carry out service washes on motorcycles in for service
- Keep demonstration and service loan bikes clean and presentable
- Be flexible to work outside normal hours when required (paid as overtime)
- Carry out ad-hoc duties to support the wider team
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:
- Hold a clean, full UK driving licence and a full motorcycle licence
- Have a genuine passion for motorcycles and good all-round technical awareness
- Take pride in delivering high levels of customer service
- Reliable, flexible, and willing to help where needed
- Able to work effectively as part of a team with minimal supervision
Package:
- Salary: £16,854
- Hours: 1st October – 31st March - 24 hours per week. Monday, Wednesday and Friday 08:30 - 17:00,1st April – 30th September - 27 hours per week. Monday, Wednesday and Friday 08:30 - 18.00
- Holiday: 22 days per year + bank holidays (pro rata)
