Next Generation Ford Fiesta unveiled at a special "Go Further" event.
The stage was set at Ford’s Cologne Niehl manufacturing facility, a fitting venue as the home of the Fiesta, with an audience of 2,500 dealers, employees and media, all anticipating the unveiling of the next generation model.
The reveal was executed in spectacular fashion, incorporating the routes of the Ford Fiesta, and it's 40th anniversary (first taking to our roads in 1976). A setlist was performed by the award-winning DJ Yoda, whilst being assisted by "YuMi", collaborative robot; this encapsulates the Fiesta's fun side whilst adding a modern twist. This accompanied a convoy of Fiesta's, starting with the first ever model from 1976, working it's way to 2008. This all built up to the grand finale:
Not one. Not two. But four fun to drive Fiestas were revealed.
Ford revealed four distinctive production variants of the next generation Fiesta: the stylish Fiesta Titanium, the Ford Performance-inspired Fiesta ST-Line, the upscale Fiesta Vignale and the Fiesta Active crossover.
The simple yet sharp design of the exterior has beautiful detailing, such as the front grille we're familiar to from the 2013 Fiesta, but with some unique design on each of the models variants.
The ergonomic interior is flooded with light with its new panoramic glass roof, which boasts the soft-touch materials; an upgrade from the current Fiesta. All-new technology has been added that includes an 8‑inch floating high-definition touchscreen and Ford’s sophisticated SYNC 3 communications and entertainment system, Fiesta also will be the first Ford to deliver a premium B&O PLAY Sound System.
The expanded Fiesta range will offer more personalisation options to customers than ever before, and enhances the sporty, fun to drive character that has delighted generations of customers. With full features yet to be confirmed, stay tuned by registering your interest today.
