Safety is of key importance when it comes to Kia. Both the new Cee'd models have spend hundreds of hours in rigorous test to ensure they're prepared for any situation. But that's not all. The New Cee'd comes with a host of smart technologies to help you avoid danger in the first place. Our advance lane departure warning system helps to prevent you from steering off course if you get tired and lose concentration momentarily. A camera monitors the car's position in relation to the lane and if required, alerts you with a warning sound. The New Cee'd also keeps a check on your tyres. If they fall below the correct pressure, an icon on the dashboard lights up. The tyre pressure monitoring system is a handy way to keep you safe and to help you drive more efficiently. Clever additions include Blind Spot Detection and Rear Cross traffic alert, which uses radar sensors to help detect surroundings you can't see.
The Kia Cee'd also includes what you expect for the unexpected. EBD (Electronic Brake Force Distribution) + BAS (Brake Assist System) helps prevent skidding and automatically optimises braking power between front and rear wheel in relation to the cars weight during breaking. ESC (Electronic Stability Control) comes in to play when you have to suddenly brake. ESC applies the correct amount of brake pressure to each individual wheel. It also reduces engine power to help you maintain control and bring your car back on course. You’ll find the cee’d fully fitted with twin front, side and curtain airbags, front seatbelt height adjusters and impact sensing auto door unlocking for added reassurance. The Kia cee’d also comes with an in-built alarm system, speed sensing door locking and child safety door locks.
