The OCTAVIA Scout is the all-action variant of this critically acclaimed and popular estate car. With its four-wheel-drive system and additional off-road features, the Scout is ready for excitement whenever you are.
The vehicle rides on 17-inch alloy wheels which are protected by anti-theft bolts and is crowned with eye-catching silver roof rails. The latter provides the means to transport extra items, such as bikes or camping equipment. The Scout features a grade-specific body style too, including unique fixtures such as bumpers, side sills and wheel arches, each offering increased protection when travelling off-road. The vehicle boasts a full complement of LED lights, such as daytime running lights, as well as cornering-assist front fog lamps that have been designed specifically for this trim. The car comes with a fetching Pacific Blue paint finish as standard, while a wide range of pearl effect and metallic hues are available as options, such as Black Magic and Rallye Green.
Inside, occupants are treated to Alcantara and leather-upholstered seating, and front-row travellers also benefit from heated positions. Also included with this grade is a heated three-spoke steering wheel, which is also leather-wrapped and is fitted with handy multifunction controls.
The OCTAVIA Scout features an eight-inch touchscreen display screen, which provides access to an eight-speaker sound set-up and an Amundsen satellite navigation system. Audio entertainment is provided by an AM/FM radio and DAB digital tuner, while Bluetooth connectivity and SD, USB and AUX ports enable further music-listening options.
All Scout grades are installed with a 2.0-litre diesel engine, with power outputs of 148bhp or 181bhp. The former delivers 0-60mph in around nine seconds, while the latter gets there in approximately 7.7 seconds. This engine returns as much as 56.5mpg too and produces CO2 emissions as low as 130g/km.
