Kia is expanding its electric commercial vehicle range with the new Kia PV7, a spacious and versatile electric van designed to meet the changing needs of modern businesses.
Positioned above the PV5 in Kia’s Platform Beyond Vehicle (PBV) range, the PV7 combines practicality, advanced technology and impressive electric performance.
The PV7 has been designed with flexibility in mind. Its spacious interior and adaptable layout make it suitable for a wide range of applications, from transporting goods and passengers to specialist business conversions.
Practical features include a 270-degree opening rear door and a low loading height, making loading and unloading easier in everyday use.
The PV7 is designed to offer an electric range of more than 460 km (around 285 miles), while its 800V charging technology allows rapid charging from 10–80% in around the mid-20-minute range, according to Kia's current published information.
The PV7 also features Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) technology, allowing the vehicle to supply power to external electrical equipment — potentially making it a useful mobile power source for businesses.
Beyond its electric drivetrain, the PV7 forms part of Kia’s wider PBV strategy, combining connected technology, flexible vehicle configurations and solutions designed around different business requirements.
With its combination of space, range, rapid charging and versatility, the Kia PV7 represents an exciting new option for businesses looking to transition to electric commercial vehicles.
UK pricing, specification and test-drive availability will be confirmed by Kia in due course.
