Lively, responsive and up for anything, the new C-MAX is a compact Multi-Activity-Vehicle (MAV) that has the dynamism of a sports car. With great handling, it lets you take control of tight corners, power down the straights and take command of the streets.

Great handling
With its energetic handling, the new C-MAX is a fantastic drive. It's agile, nimble and handles brilliantly. So unlike the kids, it's always well behaved. The Control Blade independent rear suspension with an ultra stiff body and wider track, provides agile control and superb ride comfort, plus a quieter, more refined cabin. Electronic Hydraulic Power-Assisted Steering (EHPAS) means your drive comes with a lighter touch giving you more control when parking and precise control at speed.

Exterior
The C-MAX shares many styling features with Ford's award-winning S-MAX. Front styling with a well-defined grille and clean lines give it a sporty look. The large optional panoramic glass roof floods the interior with light and adds an architectural touch. In another first for Ford, tail-light strips featuring LED technology provide a contemporary look and practical function at the rear.

Interior
Welcome to a 5-seater design that's sleek, modern and flexible, starting with a contemporary centre console. Luxurious, sculpted sports seats (available in the Sports Packs across the range) and an extending armrest (optional) place you in comfort to enjoy the new C-MAX's agile drive. And while you're looking forward to the next corner, there's plenty to keep the family entertained. Like a 6CD player (optional) and an MP3 player socket for great sounds all the way. Smart stowage keeps everything neat and tidy and the Comfort Seat System (optional) can be arranged to accommodate all kinds of passenger and storage variations, so you'll always come out smiling.

Safety
The new Ford C-MAX has an impressive list of active and passive safety technologies ready to spring into action to keep you and your family safe from harm. Ford's unique Intelligent Protection System (IPS) constantly watches over the vehicle. If required, it activates the most appropriate safety system - from airbags to collapsible pedals - in a split-second.
