Kia PV5: The Modular Electric Van Set to Transform Urban Mobility!

"A New Kind of Electric Van"

Kia is redefining the future of electric commercial vehicles with the Kia PV5, a modular, affordable, and highly versatile electric van that’s set to change how businesses move, deliver, and operate. As part of Kia’s innovative Platform Beyond Vehicle (PBV) strategy, the PV5 showcases the brand’s vision for next-generation mobility solutions; adaptable, efficient, and tailored to meet real-world business needs.

Unlike traditional vans, the Kia PV5 has been designed from the ground up to be modular. This means its body can be easily reconfigured for different purposes — from cargo transport and delivery operations to ride-sharing, shuttle services, or even mobile shops. This flexibility allows business owners to customise their fleet for maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness, all while maintaining zero emissions.

Affordable and Practical for Everyday Use

The PV5 isn’t just about futuristic design; it’s also engineered for real-world affordability. Built on Kia’s dedicated eS platform, the van uses shared components with other Kia EVs to keep costs low while delivering impressive range, performance, and reliability.

Its spacious interior and low operating costs make it an attractive option for both small businesses and large fleets looking to transition to electric power.

Smart Technology Meets Sustainable Design

Equipped with Kia’s latest connected vehicle technologies, the PV5 can integrate with smart fleet management systems, enabling drivers and operators to monitor routes, efficiency, and energy use in real time. Inside, the minimalist cabin focuses on functionality and comfort, featuring digital displays and configurable controls designed for long hours on the road.

Sustainability is at the heart of the PV5’s development — from the use of recycled and eco-friendly materials in its interior to the zero-emission electric powertrain that helps reduce CO₂ output and running costs.

Part of Kia’s Beyond Vehicle Vision

The PV5 is the first model in Kia’s PBV line-up, which will soon expand to include the larger PV7 and compact PV1. Each vehicle will serve a unique role within Kia’s vision of a connected, modular, and sustainable transport ecosystem.

Together, they represent Kia’s goal to move beyond traditional vehicles and towards a world where mobility is smart, adaptable, and environmentally responsible.

The Future of Commercial EVs Starts Here

With its record-breaking range, innovative modular design, and future-ready technology, the Kia PV5 is more than just an electric van — it’s a game-changer for the entire commercial vehicle market. Businesses can look forward to a future where electric mobility means greater efficiency, flexibility, and lower costs.
