Kia have announced the arrival of the new Kia Sorento, Kia's pinnacle 7-seater SUV. Unveiled at Frankfurt International Motor Show, the New Sorento has an extended line-up, from its entry level KX-1 to the new GT-Line and GT-Line S variants, providing a sportier appearance, already available on other Kia's, such as the Kia Sportage, Kia Rio and Kia Picanto.
Kia's flagship SUV features a new sharp exterior and refreshed interior, whilst featuring the latest in automotive safety technology and in-car connectivity. The Kia Sorento is the first Kia to have an upgraded 8 speed automatic transmission, giving it more decisive acceleration than the conventional 6 speed, whilst making it more fuel efficient.
The new Kia Sorento retains its muscular look, empathising the fact that it's the flagship model. With new front and rear bumpers, new LED head and tail-lights and a new dark metallic finished grille that still encompasses the tiger-nose that is so iconic to Kia. Available in six stylish colours, including Rich Espresso, Midnight Black, Platinum Silver, Gravity Blue, Pearl White and Graphite.
The Kia Sorento is also available with a choice of three alloy wheel designs, varying from it's standard 17" alloys, to 19" alloys available on the GT-Line models.
As for the interior, you'll find a fresh revamped steering wheel and driver instrument display, as well as a new climate control LCD display. In the centre of the cabin you'll find the new Audio Visual Navigation System surrounded by soft touch materials and leather for a premium finish.
From entry level, the Kia Sorento features a plethora of technology, including a 7" touchscreen display with RDS, DAB & camera display, air conditioning, Bluetooth, rear parking sensors, cruise control just to name a few.
Working through the line-up, the Kia Sorento GT-Line S sits at the pinnacle with the most technology, with features such as 360 degree around view monitor, adaptive smart cruise control, smart park assist, autonomous emergency braking (AEB), and lane-keep assist and more.
