Birchwood Motor Group Charity Football Match Raises Vital Funds for St Wilfrid’s Hospice

£2,755 Raised – And Counting!

Birchwood Motor Group came together on Sunday 16 August for our 2026 Charity Football Match, raising vital funds for St Wilfrid’s Hospice and helping to support the incredible work they do for local people and their families.

Following the success of last year’s event, the Birchwood team returned to the pitch for another day of football, fundraising and friendly competition, all in support of a fantastic local cause.

The event brought colleagues, supporters and football fans together for an afternoon filled with plenty of action, team spirit and, of course, a little friendly rivalry!

Making a Difference Together

St Wilfrid’s Hospice provides skilled and compassionate care and treatment for people with complex needs as they approach the end of life, as well as supporting their families. The hospice serves a community of around 230,000 people across Eastbourne, Polegate, Pevensey, Seaford, Hailsham, Heathfield, Uckfield and the surrounding areas.

As a local business, supporting organisations such as St Wilfrid’s Hospice is incredibly important to Birchwood Motor Group. The charity provides essential care and support to people in our local communities when they need it most, and we are proud to have been able to contribute through this year’s event.

Every donation, no matter the size, will help St Wilfrid’s Hospice continue providing its vital services to local families.

A huge thank you goes to everyone who took part, supported the event, donated, sponsored the match or helped make the day possible. Your generosity and enthusiasm helped make the 2026 Birchwood Charity Football Match a fantastic success.

Keep the Support Going

Although the match may be over, the fundraising doesn't have to stop!

If you would like to support St Wilfrid’s Hospice and help us reach our fundraising goal, donations are still welcome through our JustGiving page.
