National Love Your Pet Day

All of us here at Birchwood are passionate about cars, but we also have another huge passion.

Pets!

As today is National Love Your Pet Day, we wanted to celebrate our love for our furry friends. It's time to meet Birchwood's pet family!



Meet Monty​, owned by Ben who works at Eastbourne Kia. Monty loves Roast Chicken and walking over Butts Brow, and according to Ben has some nutty characteristics! 

Say hello to Ruby. She is a GSD/Husky/Collie cross about 9 years old. She was dumped when she was pregnant and adopted by Paula (our Marketing Director) and husband Phil when she was about 18 months old. She is very gentle and loving unless you are a cat, fox, squirrel or other small furry thing she takes a dislike to.​

Meet Maisie, the 2yr olds Springer Sprocker, owned by Sarah in our Marketing Team! She is trained as a gun dog and love nothing more than a day out beating and retrieving game! She also loves to go for long walks on the downs!

​Robbie is a EBT/Staffie cross and is about 8 years old, also owned by Paula and Phil. He was born deaf and  dumped when he was 6 months old; we fostered him for a rescue charity until he adopted us. Robbie loves Ruby (who is above), people and cushions.​

Hello, my name is Ben and I am a new sales executive at Birchwood Eastbourne Kia. This is me and my dog Halle. She is 3 years old and is a Mini Labradoodle. Her favourite treat is a Frankfurter sausage and she loves going for a walk/swim at the beach! She is also a very good girl.

This is Albus, owned by James Brown at Halland Ford. He will follow you everywhere you go and will always grab the post from the letter box every morning (wait for it), and bring it to you! If he’s bored he will even summon you to throw things for him. He is full of love, and always there when you’re down or just want to chill.

Meet Alfie, a 5 year old Labrador  belonging to Steve, a Sales Advisor at Washington Kia. Don't be fooled by his serious stare, he really is a barrel of laughs, and is very friendly! 

Snapped just before a nap, this is Bakewell, who belongs to Jane, who works in parts at Eastbourne Ford. Doesn't Bakewell look relaxed? 

Sam, a Technician from Washington Kia, ​has let his leg be commandeered by Jaxx, his cat. We're sure he won't have any problem moving Jaxx.

Say hello to Mitzi! She's a 14 year old Staffie cross, belonging to Ben, a Service and Aftersales Manager at Washington Kia. 

This is Lola...and this is one of her favourite places to be! She belongs to Andy, a Sales Manager at Washington Kia.

This lovely duo belongs to Phil, a Sales Executive at Washington Kia. They certainly have that Friday feeling!

Meet Loki, here looking extremely alert! Another cat belonging to Sam from Washington Kia. Was the photo a surprise we wonder?! Loki however is extremely relaxed and actually loves the camera.

And last but not least...This is Mac, a budgie belonging to Hannah, married to Ollie, who works in the Marketing Team! Mac is 13, still going strong, and he loves singing and looking at himself in the mirror...
