In the year of the Brazil 2014 World Cup, it was a bumper 12 months for Ford. In total, the company won no fewer than 46 awards.
Ford itself received five awards, including Van Manufacturer of the Year for the second year in a row at the Van Fleet World Honours.

WhatCar? Awards went to the Ford Fiesta for both Best Small Car and Best Hot Hatch (ST variant), as well as Best Used Small Car. CarBuyer also awarded the Fiesta with Best Small Car, and the Fiesta ST variant with Best Hot Hatch.
The Fiesta received the Best Supermini award from Auto Express and triumphed again, this time winning Car of the Year and Best Supermini from Telegraph Motoring. Also the Business Van of the Year Awards awarded the Fiesta Van as Small Van of the Year
Also decorated with awards in 2014 was the Ford Focus. It won the Best Used Car of the Year alongside the Best Used Family Car awarded by WhatCar? something the Fiesta had picked up four times in eight years.
The Ford Focus was awarded the maximum five stars in safety in crash tests carried out by Euro NCAP, including 92% for adult protection and 82% for child protection. The Focus also shows it a high runner in its economy with its official combined fuel economy of 47.9mpg, while CO2 emissions of 136g/km.
The Ford Mondeo won the ‘Most Rated’ prize at the Honest John Awards on 2014. The award is given to the model that holds the highest owners’ reviews on HonestJohn.co.uk and the popular Ford Mondeo scored very top marks with the website’s users.

Not to be outdone by its smaller C-MAX sibling, the S-MAX once again picked up the award of Best MPV from Business Car Awards for the seventh year in a row. showing that Ford have well and truly got it right with the S-MAX proving it to be continually popular in the MPV field.
