The Ford Galaxy is one of the UK’s most popular MPVs; a popular choice among everyone from large families to airport transfer firms and taxi firms.
It’s been on sale in various forms since 1995, always offering seven seats. Since the second generation was introduced in 2006, the rearmost two rows of seats form the FoldFlatSystem, which means each seat can individually be folded into the floor. This lets owner’s balance luggage capacity with passenger space. The system has been further refined with the introduction of a third-generation Galaxy in 2015.
Power comes from a range of petrol and diesel engines; diesel examples make up the lion’s share of used models, as they offer the lowest running costs and best fuel economy. Four-wheel drive models are available for those who require additional traction in difficult road conditions. All models are quiet, comfortable and offer the engaging handling typical of any Ford.
