Kia has officially unveiled the all-new Kia EV2 to the public for the first time at the Brussels Motor Show. As Kia’s smallest and most affordable electric vehicle to date , the EV2 marks an important step in making electric mobility more accessible than ever.
Measuring just four metres in length, the EV2 features a bold, distinctive design that aligns with Kia’s latest EV lineup. It shares key styling cues with the World Car Award-winning Kia EV3 , including striking vertical daytime running lights and robust wheel arches that give it a confident, modern stance.
Inside, the EV2 introduces Kia’s innovative ‘picnic box’ interior concept, with fabric-rich materials, a wraparound dashboard design and ambient lighting creating a welcoming, contemporary space. Customers will be able to choose between two battery options: a 42.2kWh battery with an estimated range of 198 miles , or a larger 61.0kWh battery offering up to 278 miles of range.
Production of the new Kia EV2 is set to begin in February 2026 , with long-range and GT-Line variants following in June 2026.
