Kia Motors best-selling model, the Sportage, which is available at Birchwood Kia has picked up two further awards at the Car Dealer Magazine’s Used Car Awards. The awards focus on those in the market who provide the best peace of mind to customers.
Wheeler Dealer Presenter, Mike Brewer said at the awards: “There’s big money in these big cars, if you can buy them at the right price and find the right buyer. Here in the UK we just can’t get enough of them and a lot of that comes down to the prestige of ownership. The Kia Sportage has been a huge success for the dealers who sell them both in the new market and used. It impressed our judges with its great quality and it flies off forecourts.”
Celebrating 25 years in the UK the Sportage has remained Kia’s best-selling model for six years in a row, with over 240,000 sold in the UK since its launch in 1993 and five million produced globally. The Sportage has recently been updated with fresh exterior and interior design, adding new safety and infotainment technologies, as well as efficient new powertrains and cutting-edge EcoDynamics+ 48-volt mild hybrid technology.
