Proud to Celebrate 40 Years of St Wilfrid's Hospice​

Wear it Pink 2021

Those of you who follow us on social media would have seen that our teams here at Birchwood recently pulled up their pink socks and wore their pink tops as part of the national Wear It Pink day!

Every year we turn Birchwood pink to raise awareness of breast cancer, during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and to raise money for St Wilfrid’s Hospice. With each member getting involved in the fun, and with the help from everyone who baked delicious cakes and sausage rolls and of course everyone who donated, we successfully raised just under £500 for this fantastic cause! Birchwood are proud to match this figure and have donated an additional £500, bringing the total donation up to £1,000.

2021 marks a very special year for St Wilfrid’s Hospice, as they celebrate 40 fantastic years of supporting our local community.

All the team here at Birchwood would like to thank the wonderful staff and volunteers who have touched many of our lives over the past 4 decades, with their incredible hard-work and dedication.

To celebrate this special Ruby Anniversary, St Wilfrid's have 'Painted the Town Red' and we are all proud to show our support here at the Birchwood Group.
