Fundraiser for Breast Cancer Research

Bigger and better than ever! Those of you who follow The Birchwood Group on social media, would have seen that we took part in the national Wear it Pink day.

First of all, thank you to everyone for your generous donations!

In support of Breast Cancer research, Birchwood did a little fundraising for "Wear It Pink", in association with 'Breast Cancer Awareness Month'. The majority of Birchwood turned pink, with each member getting involved in the fun. With the help from everyone who baked cupcakes, sponge cakes, sausage rolls, cookies & key lime pie and of course everyone who donated for the cause, we raised almost £600 which is the most we have ever raised for a charity event! What an amazing turn out.

This is the third 'Wear it Pink' day we’ve taken part in and the amount of people that got involved and joined in on the excitement that is Wear it Pink day was over whelming!
