Red Dot Awards: Car Design - The ever popular Picanto was picked out alongside the Stonic for 'Car Design' the Jury stated "With the appearance of an agile small car, the Kia Picanto offers a cabin with ergonomic comfort and a great deal of space for passengers and luggage."
iF Design Awards: Product Design Award - With over 6,400 submissions from 54 countries the third-generation of the Kia Picanto - Kia’s smallest European car brings a youthful and energetic character to the A-segment. It boasts a distinctive new design and a high-quality and high-tech cabin. Despite its compact dimensions, the Picanto’s intelligent design makes it one of the most spacious cars in its class.

AutoTrader New Car Awards 2018: Best Value New Car & Best Car for New Drivers - Coming out on top as a winner twice with AutoTrader 2018 awards the Kia Rio was voted the 'Best Value New Car', Auto Trader’s Road Test Editor Ivan Aistrop, said: “It’s important to stress that ‘value’ doesn’t mean ‘cheap’, and there are plenty of similar cars out there that cost less than the Rio. Diesel Car and Eco Car Awards: Best Hybrid Vehicle - Winning for the second year in a row the Niro has been awarded as the 'Best Hybrid Vehicle'. Ian Robertson, Editor of DieselCar and EcoCar Magazine commented on the win: “The Kia Niro was one of the first hybrid models to embrace crossover styling, making it more practical for families and a bit more stylish too. Sitting just below the Sportage in size, it’s ideal for driving in town where its twin-clutch automatic gearbox also pays dividends. Fuel economy of around 70mpg is easy on the wallet and upgrading to the plug-in hybrid version boosts the official laboratory figure to an astounding 217mpg. This is thanks to an all-electric driving range of up to 36 miles.”
Driver Power New Car Survey: Best Small SUV & First Place in the Infotainment, Connectivity and Electrics category - The Niro was voted the best Small SUV by its owners and was also awarded first place in the Infotainment, Connectivity and Electrics category as it comes with a reversing camera system, Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ as standard. The Niro’s safety features, which include Autonomous Emergency Braking and Lane Keep Assist System, were commended and came in second.
DrivingElectric Awards: Electric Car of the Year and Best Compact Electric Car - e-Niro - Before the e-Niro has even arrived in the showrooms the All-New Kia e-Niro has already won two awards from DrivingElectric. In the spacious interior, the heightened driver’s seating position and an ergonomically located infotainment system contribute to a good overview and high comfort. Both the exterior and the interior can be individually customised by use of contrasting colours. with the Judges commenting "The Kia Stonic makes a self-confident and sturdy impression with its distinctive exterior design. The design of the interior focuses on the driver and offers a good visual overview."
iF Design Awards: Product Design - Again, winning alongside the Kia Picanto and Stinger, the Stonic has been awarded with the iF Design Award for Product Design, the Stonic, Kia’s debut compact crossover, offers a striking and bold exterior design, combined with an elevated seating position and practical SUV format. It is the most colourful Kia ever made, offering buyers a wide choice of two-tone paint combinations and interior colours.
Automotive Management Awards 2018: Best Used Car - Completing a hat-trick of Used Car of the Year Awards in 2018, following on from AM Awards successes in 2017 and 2016, when it wrested the title from the popular Ford Fiesta, the Sportage is a stand-out contender in the used car marketplace.
AutoTrader: Fastest Selling Used Car in 2017 - The Kia Sportage was the fastest selling used car in 2017, taking an average of 24 days to sell. Data compiled by AutoTrader found that the 2015 Kia Sportage (petrol manual) was the fastest to shift off forecourts. Kia had four models in the 2017 top 10, the 2014 Sportage (petrol manual) in fourth place, the 2014 Rio (petrol manual) in fifth, and the 2015 Rio (petrol manual) in ninth.
Diesel Car Used Car Top 50: Overall Winner - The Kia Sportage (2010-2016) claimed the top spot on the list and was named the overall winner by the Diesel Car and Eco Car panel of judges. The Sportage was commended for its striking and distinctive design, efficient and quiet diesel engines, low running costs and competitive value for money.

2018 Scottish Car of the Year Awards: Used Car of the Year - Having previously won this award the Kia Sportage has come back strong in 2018 to claim the award once again. The Sportage has become an iconic vehicle in the Kia line-up.
WhatCar? Used Car Awards: Best Large SUV for less than £26,000 - The large SUV market has a wide range of models all battling to get the winning spot. The Kia Sorento was voted Best Large SUV for less than £26,000 in the Used Car Awards, WhatCar? said “ Space is the Sorento’s forte here, with a vast and practical interior that also includes seven seats where some of its rivals can only offer five. At our price point you should also be able to pick up a barely used 2017 car, too, in well-specced KX-2 trim, with most of its impressive seven-year warranty still left."
Diesel Car Used Car Top 50 & 2018 Driver Power New Car Survey: Best Large SUV - The Sorento has been voted as Best Large SUV twice in 2018. Diesel Car Awards stated; “Kia has transformed itself over recent years, and nowhere is that more evident than in its flagship SUV. Once a utilitarian machine, the Sorento is now as sophisticated and refined as its rivals. The price has crept up too, but buying used still means you are getting a lot of metal for the money. The single 2.2-litre diesel engine with 197bhp was made more efficient for the 2015 model, returning just under 50mpg with a manual gearbox. With plenty of torque, the Sorento makes a great tow car.”
Motor Trade Awards: New Car of the Year - The All-New Kia Stinger, Kia’s ground breaking gran turismo, is continuing its award success by being named New Car of the Year at this year’s Motor Trader Awards. Launched at the beginning of 2018, the most adventurous model in Kia’s history, the Stinger has altered the perceptions of the brand to many.
The Tow Car Awards 2018: Best Petrol Tow Car - “We’ll admit the Stinger doesn’t look like a typical tow car. But the Kia proves that you don’t need a practical estate or a tough SUV to go caravanning,” said the judges. The judges also praised the “lively and willing” 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine and “secure and stable” motorway manners. The Stinger also scored highly for its boot, which offers “room to squeeze in more bags than we found in some SUVs”. Overall, the Kia Stinger 2.0 petrol is described as a “surprise package”.

Taking inspiration from the grand tourers of the 1970s, the Stinger features elegant fastback proportions and a muscular ‘coke bottle’ shape down its flanks, highlighting its rear-wheel biased power delivery.

UK Car of the Year: Best Performance Car - Following a successful introduction to the UK last year, the Kia Stinger has been awarded ‘Best Performance Car’ in the UK Car of the Year Awards 2018. Commenting on the Stinger win, Paul Barker – UK Car of the Year judge, said: “A brave move by Kia to produce a great-looking grand tourer and an interesting addition to the sector. The 3.3-litre petrol engine is an absolute stormer.”
