Nothing gets us more pumped than previews of the new vehicles that Birchwood Group can bring to our customers, and we are thrilled to bring you news of the new Kia Sorento. Some of the official design sketches have been shared and the next generation of the popular SUV looks better than ever.
It is the first vehicle based on Kia’s new-generation mid-size SUV platform, so we anticipated an exciting redesign and are not disappointed. Noticeable exterior enhancements include a more square-edged design and a new front end profile. While at the rear, split vertical brake lights are a change from the previous model and large ‘SORENTO’ lettering on the tailgate are a statement piece.
There’s been a big overhaul inside the cabin too. We were promised the most high-tech vehicle Kia has ever created and it seems there is proof of this in abundance in a newly designed 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Refined interior design features like ambient LED lighting, plush leather upholstery and high gloss, wood-effect surfaces feature throughout, making it sophisticated and stylish.
The all new KIA Sorento is due to be unveiled in all its glory at this year’s Geneva Motor Show at the beginning of March. The show is one of the most important events in the motoring calendar, providing a stage for some of the most exciting releases from the motoring world. From all-electric city cars to 600bhp supercars, the 2020 Geneva Motor Show will be showcasing all the best available on the market today.
Happily, the fourth generation Sorento will take its spot with pride. Available in a PHEV powertrain for the first time, the award-winning Sorento will be available from Birchwood Group very soon.
